What are we looking to fund?
Community projects, initiatives, or causes that have direct benefit at a local level. The fund recipient must be a charity, non-profit, or municipal body.
Who can apply?
Funding applications must be submitted by a Heartland agent, broker, or staff member. Click here for your 2022 Application Form. Email your completed application to iheart@heartlandfarmmutual.com.
What level of funding is available?
Requests for full or partial funding may be granted, ranging from a few hundred to several thousand dollars, depending on applications received and the annual Fund budget.
How are recipients chosen?
The fund committee reviews and selects applicants based on eligibility criteria, but they also look for a compelling story of the project/cause – the need it fulfills in the community; what the overall goal is; who is impacted, and how.
