Lynn MacLean

Lynn was elected as Board Chair in 2023. She spent 31 years in the education profession and taught in Pictou County in leadership positions including Vice Principal, Principal, and Family of Schools Supervisor. Lynn holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dalhousie University, an Associate of Education from Nova Scotia Teachers’ College, and a Master of Education from St. Mary’s University. She served on the Pictou County Fire Mutual Insurance Company (PCFMI) Board prior to amalgamation in 2016 with The Kings Mutual Insurance Company. Additionally, she holds memberships/directorships with Pictou Mutual Community Foundation, West Pictou School Advisory Council, Women’s Institutes of Nova Scotia, and the Steering Committee for MORE (Marathon of Respect and Equality).
