Carole Pates

Carole joined Heartland Farm Mutual Inc. as Director of Human Resources in December 2018. As a member of the senior management team Carole provides strategic business partnering and works to implement Human Resources practices that support the achievement of business goals and objectives. Carole brings over 30 years of experience to the team and has broad HR experience in the P&C and banking industry, Senior’s health care and non-profit. Carole’s passion is helping create respectful and rewarding workplaces, where employees’ can reach their full potential while meeting the company’s strategic goals. Carole has served on the Grand Valley HRPA Board of Directors and brings extensive Human Resources experience, she holds Human Resources Management credentials from Queens and the University of Waterloo. Carole views HR as a true business partner whose solutions to complex business needs to promote company growth and a productive, cohesive culture.
